It would be nice if one could give gifts that was give some consideration because then it becomes more specific to the newly weds. A good illustration of this is if I know that the couple are outdoors persons, I gift them with a lovely picnic basket complete with bottles of their favorite wine. History of MythBusters

What is MythBusters? MythBusters is a television show that was originally produced for the Discovery Channel in the US but has recently begun being broadcast in other countries, including the UK and Australia. The show is dedicated to proving or disproving urban legends, Internet rumors, news stories, and various other myths using the scientific method.

The format of the show consists of testing several myths each episode using science. First, the show's team attempts to re-create whatever situation occurs in the myth. Generally, objects must be constructed to properly re-create the situation, and this occurs in the team's workshops. Frequently, re-creation of the myths includes spectacular effects, such as explosions.

Results of the myth re-creation are then measured to determine whether there is a scientific explanation for the event. The myth is then classified as 'Busted,' 'Plausible,' or 'Confirmed.'

MythBusters Hosts The original team of MythBusters cast included Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman. Both men have a background in visual effects. Savage is a special effects and industrial design engineer and an educator and actor. Hyneman is an expert in visual effects and owns an effects workshop called M5 Industries, which is where much of the show's work occurs.

In the beginning of the show, Hyneman is reported to have felt he was not interesting enough to host the show alone. Savage was brought on as a co-host. Part of the early and continuing appeal of MythBusters comes from the dynamic between these two team members. Typically, Hyneman is the straight man to Savage's funny guy.

The narration of the show is provided by Robert Lee, but in the UK and other areas, he is sometimes replaced by a local narrator.

Creation of the MythBusters 'Build Team' Originally, most of the staff at M5 Industries remained off camera, but as the show progressed, a few staff members become part of the MythBusters team. Eventually, three of these staff members created a MythBusters team of their own, called the 'Build Team.' The 'Build Team' originally consisted of Tony Belleci, Kari Byron, and Scottie Chapman.

Belleci is a builder on the show and is considered by his team members to be a risk-taker, performing a few of the most dangerous stunts. Byron is an artist and became part of the show by persistently appealing to Hyneman for a job at M5 Industries. Chapman, noted for her tattoos, is a metal worker and left the show after season 3. She was replaced by Grant Imahara, who often makes robots need for the show.

The 'Build Team' now works in its own workshop, called M7. Each episode of the show is divided between the original team and the 'Build Team.'

Other Cast Members The show has also included other cast members from time to time. For instance, the show included two interns or 'mythterns' for a period of time. These interns were contest winners and are no longer on the show.

Additionally, the team is supplemented by experts that appear when a Mythbusters episode requires their input. One of these experts was folklorist Heather Joseph-Witham, who appeared on camera for much of the first season. Other experts include firearms specialists, rocketry specialists, FBI agents, and others.

Not all members of the MythBusters team are human. In fact, a very important role is played by 'Buster,' the show's crash test dummy. Due to the fact that he has been used in many extreme situations, Buster has been repeatedly rebuilt and repaired. The cast act as if Buster is a living human being, which is a running joke on the show.

The difference is chiefly in the words used to describe the condition of the track used for the race. The SEC is looking exciting again. USC has a great team this year; Ohio State looks good on paper but seems to fold when it really counts. Some things stay the same in college football year in and year out. One thing which is also a constant in the sport is that there are big upsets every week, meaning that the only safe bet is that there are no safe bets! You should bet on your hunches; but be ready to be chastised when this backfires on you, as will happen from time to time.

We all have our own strategies for betting on college football. And a good one to use is to expect upsets. Here are a few upset situations to keep in mind when making your picks:

A team just won an important game and will be too relaxed and happy to adequately prepare for the next opponent.
An unranked team from within the conference is the opponent. They won't be mistaken for a BCS Bowl team, but they know the opponent very well.
A team is playing on national television, or in a primetime game, with all of the attention on them. Especially true of teams that are not used to the stage.
And more! Of course there are more upset situations to pay attention to, but those as good a place as any to start.

In the 2008 season, upsets have already begun to happen. For example, Oregon State beat USC even though everybody thought USC was going to be in the BCS Championship game. For instance, Appalachian State's victory over Michigan in the Big House last year. Nor are Bowl games free form upsets ? remember Boise State vs. Oklahoma? This punctured the long held view that the bigger programs win the big games.

The Top 25 has some nontraditional powers, which means that more BCS Bowl upsets could be due this year. Boise State, Utah and Brigham Young University could all pull out all the stops if they play in front of a national audience in a big bowl game. Connecticut and Wake Forest aren't renowned for their programs in football, but their talent is formidable enough that they, too, could bring some excitement -- and upsets -- into big bowl games, too.

This is my point ? you need to be prepared for upsets. Keep an eye out for the common upset scenarios I described above and never operate on autopilot when placing your bets online. There are no 100% guarantees in life or in college football. Think carefully about the matchup and try to identify likely upsets before the game and you could bring in some serious cash by betting wisely.

However, as these regulations are mandated on a State level, there is an exception. The state of Nevada allows (but seriously restricts) brothels, and thereby, some establishments there are known to offer erotic massage services. What many spectators to these races do not realize is that this is only one type of Thoroughbred horse racing that is available and while these races are the most popular Thoroughbred horse races, there are other forms of Thoroughbred horseracing that are popular as well.

Another variation of Thoroughbred horseracing that is popular is the turf races. What makes these races different from the other types of Thoroughbred races is that the races are run over a grass surface instead of a dirt surface and all of the other aspects of the races are the same.

The Thoroughbreds that run on the turf course will still run the same distances as the horses that race on the dirt surfaces. The only main difference between racing on the dirt course and racing on the turf course are the terms that are used to describe certain aspects of the races. All the choices and final decisions made during the game affect the game and Niko's success.

How to Straighten Crooked Photos

I have found the best way to straighten images in Photoshop is to use the Measure Tool, which fortunately takes all the guess work out of the process. As you will see in a moment, as long as you have something in the photo that needs to be straight, Photoshop will do almost all of the work for us! The Measure Tool is hidden behind the Eyedropper Tool in the Tools palette and you'll need to click and hold your mouse button down on the Eyedropper Tool for a second or two. A fly-out menu appears and shows you the other tools hiding behind it. Click on the Measure Tool to select it.

First you want to look for something in your image that needs to be straightened, either horizontally or vertically. Then you want to drag along the edge of the crooked item with the Measure Tool so Photoshop has something to work with when trying to figure out how crooked the photo actually is. In this case, I will click and drag horizontally along the roof of the building directly behind Ms. Liberty. Clearly the roof should be entirely horizontal, yet it clearly isn't at the moment. I'll click once on the left side of the roof, then drag over to the right side of the roof. This draws a thin line between where I first clicked on the left and where I finished dragging on the right, and Photoshop uses the angle of this line to determine how far the image will need to be rotated in order to straighten it.

So, basically, to straighten something all you need to do is click and drag with the Measure Tool along the edge of something in the photo that should be straight horizontally or vertically. You can look up in the Options Bar at the top of the screen and see the angle of the line you've just drawn (it's the number listed to the right of the letter "A"). In my case, we can see that my line is on an angle of 1.9 degrees:

The Options Bar should be showing the angle of the line you have drawn with the Measure Tool. Photoshop now uses this angle to find out how far to turn the image in order to straighten it. To find the "Rotate Canvas - Arbitrary" Command Click on the Image menu at the top of the program, choose Rotate Canvas, and then select Arbitrary:

Go to Image > Rotate Canvas > Arbitrary. The word "arbitrary" actually means "random or by chance", yet that's exactly the opposite of what we're doing here. Photoshop is not randomly rotating our image or leaving anything to chance. The Measure Tool was used to find out just how much of an angle our image needs to be rotated by, and now Photoshop will use the information we've provided to level our image without any guess work. As you probably already know, much of the problem with understanding Photoshop comes from getting around the terminology, and in this case, I'm not quite sure what Adobe was thinking.

However, life goes on. Once you select "Arbitrary", Photoshop pops up the Rotate Canvas dialog box, and as we can see, all the work has already been done for us. In my case, Photoshop has already entered a value of 1.85 for the Angle option, and it even knew that the image will need to be rotated counter-clockwise, which is why the CCW option is also selected:

You may be wondering why Photoshop entered an angle of 1.85 when the Options Bar showed an angle of 1.9 a moment ago. The reason is because Photoshop rounds off the angles in the Options Bar to 1 decimal place, so it showed 1.9 even though the angle of the line we drew with the Measure Tool was actually 1.85. The angle shown in the Rotate Canvas dialog box is the correct angle.

At this point, all we need to do is click OK in the Rotate Canvas dialog box to exit out of it and have Photoshop rotate and straighten our image for us. The image has now been rotated and straightened. Everything looks good, and the Statue of Liberty is no longer leaning to the right. We were able to straighten the image perfectly without any guess work thanks to the Measure Tool and the Rotate Canvas command.

Of course, there is a small problem. By rotating the image inside the document window, we've added some white canvas areas around the outside of the photo. We'll need to finish things off by cropping away those areas, and for that, we can use Photoshop's Crop Tool. Select the Crop Tool from the Tools palette, or simply press the letter C on your keyboard to select it with the shortcut:

With the Crop Tool chosen click near the top left corner of your image and drag down towards the bottom right to create a border around the part of the image you want to keep. Fine-tune your selection by dragging any of corner handles or by dragging the top, bottom, left or right sides of the selection:

You can use the Crop Tool to drag a selection area around the portion of the image you want to retain. Once you've dragged out your cropping border, press Enter (Win) / Return (Mac) to have Photoshop crop the image.

Help Your Child Get Motivated in Piano Lessons

When you child is first starting piano lessons, you may need some information and guidance. Was your child the one to initiate the lessons? Or are you imposing your will on your child because you had past dreams of becoming a pianist a long time ago and and it didn't happen, or are you competitive with other families of piano students?

Don't attempt to make your child to take piano lessons just because as a parent it is the correct thing to do. When it comes down to it, it will be a difficult struggle if you make your child do it anyway. Think about it: most teachers don't enjoy working with someone who feels bored, sleepy, or angry because they don't want to be at the lessons.

When your child is already interested in learning piano, you are one step ahead. Another way to spark an interest is to take them to a concert or get someone who is a good pianist to come to your home and play piano or for some special family occasion. Your child might want to learn to play some pieces by ear, and ask the pianist to show them how.

Try to persuade your child to make up some songs or play something by ear on the keyboard or piano. They also should be told that the instrument never should be treated roughly like an old toy, and needs to be handled with consideration. Your child should also be told that piano lessons are a special gift, as many people cannot afford to pay for lessons for their own children so that it should never be taken for granted.

Next, you need to find a teacher that will accept your child. Some teachers will take students as young as five but others start them at eight years old, as they prefer the larger hands, more developed motor skills, and better reading and comprehension skills. 4. Children's eyes and expressions are priceless. Photograph how they react to the world around them. Ask them to make funny faces or happy faces. See if they will lean into the camera and look right at you.

5. You may want to bring children to a new playground or park. It's fun to watch them explore their new environment. If you are photographing them outside (which is the best light), remember that the best lighting is before 10 a.m. and after 4 p.m.

Bolt - Disney's Newest Classic

Look out world, Bolt is soon to be unleashed! The most recent Disney movie follows the adventures of Bolt, a white Shepherd puppy voiced by John Travolta. Bolt has lived his whole life on the set of a theatrical television show, where he plays a dog with super powers. When he is accidentally shipped cross-country to New York City, he embarks on a mission to return to Los Angeles. The only problem is, Bolt thinks his superpowers are real. He is soon joined by Mittens the cat, voiced by Susie Essman, and a TV-obsessed hamster, Rhino, voiced by Mark Walton.

According to the production staff, the look of the film was inspired by the work of Edward Hopper. The revolutionary process of non-photorealistic rendering, known as NPR, was used to render the distinctive look of the film. The NPR process, which is also being used for Disney's up-coming Rapunzel (2010), gives Bolt a three-dimensional look that is a first for Disney.

The first trailers of Bolt were released with the theater prints for WALL-E and managed to set off a tidal wave of interest. The project was initially entitled American Dog and was the brain-child of Chris Sanders of Lilo & Stitch fame. His version of the film centered on a TV star dog named Henry. Henry finds himself abandoned in the desert and must find his way home with the help of a one-eyed cat and a radioactive rabbit.

However, when John Lasseter took charge of Disney in 2006, he screened a rough version of the film and asked for major changes to be made. When Sanders refused to make any cuts, he was quickly replaced by Chris Williams and Byron Howard. Lasseter explained, "Chris Sanders is extremely talented, but he couldn't take it to the place it had to be."

Bolt as we know it has set alight the public's interest. A video game version of the film will be released on November 18, 2008 for all major gaming platforms. This will surely mobilize a massive young audience. Coupled with a star-studded cast of voices, Bolt is sure to be a very big hit.

For me, seeing the same design on your skin day in day out could be quite unsettling. If by some quirk of fate I decide to get a tattoo, I would still end up having the salon frequently update it or add something to the design to suit my highs and lows. No, I don't think tattoos would be ideal for an individual such as me.

In contrast, my sister loves the few tattoos she has. She produced a superb design that is really awesome. She had me measure the length and width of her back, outlining the exact shape of her spine and then we drew it on a big piece of paper.

Drawing from her artistic reserves, my sister sketched a cat which was to be her tattoo design. You can view the cat's backside but its head is turned so that it appears to be looking at you. The cat's spine exactly outlines my sister's spine up to its end, after which, the cat's tail curls around the whole picture. This remarkable design, if executed will almost completely conceal her back. Despite the design's stunning and brilliant features, my sister feels that it might just be too large for her minute frame.

If you so wish to experiment with this art form on your body, you have to set certain limitations on how daring you would like to be. An exquisite design such as my sister's creation may cost much more than you bargained for. Another important factor to consider is its being kind of irreversible, and having it removed afterwards if you do not like the results pr for some other reasons could equally be expensive and troublesome. My sister is keeping her options open, she has her cat tattoo design with her, but she has not yet said yes to the tattoo master.

1. There are many different sizes of film, and different formats: 35mm (1" x 1"), medium format- 120 (2" x 2 "), and large format (4" x 5"). Typically, people will start off using a 35mm SLR (single-lens reflex) camera. With an SLR, you can focus and view the subject directly through the lens.

2. Different film speeds are chosen for different situations and are rated by an ASA (American Standards Association) number. A slow film is 32 ASA and is used for brightly lit subjects; it produces fine grain negatives. 125 ASA produces medium grain negatives, and is chosen for outdoor use. 400 ASA is a faster film and is best for indoor use and results in coarse grain negatives.

3. You can control the amount of light entering the lens by changing the aperture. F-stop settings are a measurement of the size of the lens opening. Small F-stop numbers mean a larger lens opening, allowing more light in. Large F-stop numbers mean a smaller opening, allowing less light in. Typical F-stop range: 1.4, 2, 2.8, 4, 5.6, 8, 11, 16, 22.

4. Focal length is a measure of the lens size, measured in mm. For a lens with a longer focal length, the angle of view is narrower. A short focal length has a wider angle of view. The following are lens types and their focal lengths: normal (50mm), wide angle (21-35mm), and telephoto (105-300mm).

5. The shutter speed determines the time the film is exposed to light. The faster the shutter speed, the less time light is exposed to the film. A slow shutter speed means that the film is being exposed to light for a longer amount of time. The following are shutter speeds: B, T, 2, 4, 8, 15, 30, 60, 125, 250, 500, 1000. You can determine the time the shutter is open by placing a 1 over each number to get a fraction. For example, 2 means the shutter is open for on half of a second

6. Referring to shutter speed, the B stands for bulb, and the T stands for time. When you hold down the B, the shutter will stay open for as long as it is pressed down. If you use T, the shutter will remain open from the time you push it down, until it is pressed again.

In the famous 'fire of Rome' it was later destroyed .

The Colosseum was designed in such a clever way that it has been said that most today's stadiums have been inspired by the concepts introduced in the Colosseum's building structure. In less than finve minutes it could have been evacuated.

The Colosseum had a very innovative cooling system for that time. It was roofed using a canvas covered net-like structure made of ropes, it had a hole in the center to provide a breeze for the people attending.

The Colosseum also had a feature called "vomitoria" - a passageway that leads to a row of seats from below or behind. The vomitoria of the Colosseum in Rome were designed so that the massive venue could fill in 15 minutes. (80 gates at ground level, 76 for general public and 4 for the imperial family.) An incredibly magnificent architectural development for its time. The building itself is also of great beauty and design.

The Colosseum was also transformed, in the Middle Ages, into a fortress and some marble was burned used to make quicklime. The Japanese word Karaoke is derive from two words: Kara, which means "empty", and Oke, short for okesutora, or orchestra. Karaoke entertainment systems provide pre-recorded musical accompaniment of popular songs. In most cases, karaoke performers follow the lyrics on a video screen as the music plays on.

Karaoke has been popular in portions of North America for more than a decade, but it has been a full-on sweeping sensation throughout Asia for more than thirty years. The first virtual concert machine was introduced in Japan in the 1970s. Since then, karaoke parties have been favorite pastimes for all countless performers on the small stage. The phenomenon of karaoke was so huge that the media adopted the term to use for all occasions when pre-recorded music replaced live performances.

Japanese traditions are rich with musical elements. This form of entertainment is reflected in Japanese culture, history and mythology. Even Samurais use music, singing and dancing as part of their training and education.

Tracing the history of karaoke will take us back to the early 1970s, when a nightclub singer by the name of Daisuke Inoue performed regularly in a Utagoe Kissa, a Japanese bar. Inoue was so popular that fans would regularly ask for recordings of his music that they could sing along with. Inoue saw the potential and created a tape recorder that played a song when a 100 yen coin was inserted. Back in the 1970s, 100 yen would buy about two lunches, so it was a fairly steep price for a single song. Still, the combination of old-time jukebox and future karaoke machine proved to be a phenomenal hit in Japanese clubs. Inoue decided that he would lease the machines to stores and bars instead of selling them, so that the owners would not have to purchase new songs on their own.

The invention of the karaoke machine was intensely important to the culture of modern Japan; so much so, that Daisuke Inoue was awarded the 2004 Nobel Peace Prize for "providing an entirely new way for people to learn to tolerate each other."

Since the early 1980s, "Karaoke Time" has been a popular form of entertainment in east Asia. The karaoke phenomenon spread like a global virus, taking on other parts of the world. The popularity of karaoke reached record highs and it became a very productive industry. It wasn't long until the karaoke craze hit North America and took the continent by storm.

The new entertainment import industry flourished in the Western world. Enterprising Americans were quick to see the investment potential in a brand new type of entertainment that provided cool, relaxing fun, as well as bringing people together in a tolerant, patient manner. Karaoke bars and nightclubs known as "KTV boxes" opened across North America, providing eager would-be performers with fresh new venues, software and equipment.

Since its inception in the United States and other western countries, people have begun to take karaoke more seriously. American bars are unlikely to have karaoke seven nights a week as they do in East Asia. Many however, have upgraded their equipment from the small, standalone machines that started the craze over two decades ago. Big Carp and Catfish Bait Flavours And Feeding Triggers!

As a plea to the average carp and catfish angler; it is possible to double and treble your catches (and more but you probably would not believe me,) by treating fish as swimming tongues! It seems to go right over most anglers heads that fish can be manipulated (big-time) by what is dissolved into the water that surrounds them from specifically adapted baits... So why not let this be the start of something big for you too!

Carp and catfish often live in the same waters and are targeted by anglers fishing in similar ways for each so I'll place these together. A good reason to use catfish and carp together as examples of tongues that swim is the sheer number of physical similarities in substance detection and also their shared quite similar essential nutritional needs that often means the same bait design can catch both; and very big ones too! Many anglers know little about the specifically adapted cells in and outside of fish that enable them to detect substances in water on a chemical level even down to a few parts in a million or even billion, and this is one of the most powerful aspects of fish we can exploit with our baits to make them far easier to catch!

Humans tasting a bait substance is rather an exercise in personal taste and opinion as opposed to a scientific method of selection, as our senses have been severely dulled over the course of evolution and recent cultural revolutions such as that of farming; but some indigenous hunter tribes eyesight is perfect at 20 / 25! Another point is that specially evolved cells called receptor cells are found in various concentrations on the external and interior of fish. These have many various special adaptations.

Some specific cells and systems detect various substances like particularly essential and also very stimulatory non-essential amino acids, or mineral salts or individual vitamins etc. Many different substance-specific cells and different functional-orientated cell are found in the surface skin for example and are distributed over the body, and in particular areas like the face, fins, nose, throat and interior of the mouth etc. As a side note here; even oils are partly soluble and this is significant especially in the use of lecithins in lower temperatures, improving digestion, more effective bait substance distribution in the water etc.

The lateral line in carp and many Cyprindae fish extends from the tail to the mouth and utilises specially adapted pit cells. This line of pits and cells are obviously highly important as they extend along the entire length of the fish. In carp the lateral line is so important that through evolution, the jaw bones and head has become shaped so to accommodate this system providing vital external sensory inputs!

Over all the various systems and their different functions combined act like a biological radar system and enable the fish to be as aware as possible of its surroundings. Fish can detect the surrounding water oxygen concentration or dissolved carbonic acid concentration in various times of year and seasons. A lowered carbonic acid concentration in water on the end of a strong oxygenating warming south-westerly wind in the UK for instance, can often lead to fish preferring the water conditions where the bank faces this wind.

The worm-like projections around the mouth of a carp help in the vital decisions and behaviours made in testing or eating an item, or rejecting it, and these are packed with high concentrations of specialised receptor cells; so getting your bait right is essential! You baits can absorb water so releasing substances, or even simply dissolve into the water in the case of highly soluble or hygroscopic additives, ingredients and flavour components like glycerol for instance. Now the chemical substances from your bait are most concentrated near your bait and this message in solution gets weaker travelling further away and this is obviously very significant in drawing fish to your bait!

Fish will track-down your bait by following the concentration gradients of substances leaching outwards from your baits. Making the most of bait produced concentration gradients in many ways really gives you the edge, and making your own baits and ground baits, and being able to adapt ready made ones for this purpose especially is such a massive edge! A bait packed with many of the essential dietary requirements of carp will give carp far more reason to pick-up your bait and actually consume it compared to many baits with much less vital reasons on offer, and you can boost this effect in many extremely potent ways in your homemade baits and ground baits or in any ready made boilies, pellets, particle baits etc...

Carp and catfish senses are the key to manipulating their feeding and location behaviours in your favour and anglers who truly appreciate this often make catching great numbers of fish look easy and are able to certainly gain huge advantages over other anglers competing baits and their methods of application by constantly adapting with the fish! Many leading anglers truly appreciate how to leverage and adapt their baits because they know enough about exploiting carp senses and behaviour to do this and often to maximum effect, and it costs you very little to multiply your catches for life when you find (and utilise) the right information!

Homemade Carp Bait Secrets Of Potent Cheap Sausage Meat Baits!

Sausage meat is now part of carp and cat fishing history having proven its worth as a very effective cheap bait ingredient for small and big fish (many thousands of times, and for decades.) It is far cheaper than using the popular Pepperoni and similar luncheon meat type products for example. But how do you make extremely effective but very cheap baits and ground baits using it; see a few very proven big fish suggestions right now!...

Obviously sausage meat is great being so cheap and readily available without rapidly depleting marine resources as much as many other bait ingredients so such meat baits and ground baits are more ethical too! Sausage meat is best bought fresh or fresh frozen and is extremely economical like this. Sausage meat baits are not part of modern bait fashions at the moment and can really give you a great edge over many wary big fish!

Sausage meat is very simple and easy to use and you can either mince it up or use the minced product. The nutritional value of pork sausage meat is very stimulatory to both carp and catfish and has a fair proportion of those important fish stimulators; amino acids and oils. Pork sausage meat is often made with bread crumbs and it is very simple to make a bait by simply mixing it with eggs and very cheap wheat flour for example, although other more nutritional binding flours and meals are very numerous, to help bind bait into a dough.

To make these economical protein based baits is fast and very easy!

For instance, start off with a small amount of meat to practice with like just half a pound of minced meat mixed with around 3 hens eggs in a bowl and with enough wheat flour added to mould into a pliable bait dough. You can use this as bait or put into sealed plastic freezer bags to store in the fridge or freezer for later use. Such bait is usually very instant on most carp and catfish waters, although different grades and brands of sausage meat will vary in success rates so do experiment!

Pre-baiting with a new bait is definitely a good edge putting things far more in your favour. (This is not totally necessary with this bait though.) I got a friend to do this for me in a swim (not such a clever move,) and I never got in the swim as incidental catches by other anglers meant it was too popular as a result of the baiting; so bait less obvious swims! Even just introducing a few pounds of bait in golf ball sized pieces the day before fishing can make a big difference!

Introducing safe free baits is never a wasted exercise and in fact this is one of the most powerful methods of achieving big fish catches anyway. Many easy ground baits can be made from sausage meat too. Using paste on the hair or direct on the hook has been catching big carp and catfish for decades, and now is a great time to try it! Paste bait is really effective but if smaller fish are troublesome simply scald or par-boil your baits to make them more resistant and use paste on your rig too!

All you need to do is make your baits about an inch in size and they don't need to be perfectly round either; in fact the more different to commercially produced machine rolled baits the better the effect! Just put on a pan of boiling water (half-filled) and get some absorbent paper towels or convenient towels flat and ready to receive your boilied baits to dry upon. Just add about a handful of baits at a time and keep the water boiling at all times.

The proteins in the eggs in the boilies coagulate more with more boiling to make your baits harder, but you might add other substances to harden or toughen your baits; such as blood powder which also adds valuable stimulatory nutritional attraction. The choice of other additives, ingredients, flavours etc is vast, but choosing these is very much a science and art! Anything you add is better based on a little investigation of what truly triggers fish feeding and what has not already hammered your water, rather than a quick trip to the local bait shop first as this can end up costly and even counter-productive to your financial goals!

You might just add a teaspoon of black pepper powder per egg used. Other examples of well proven kitchen favourites are yeast extract products like Marmite or Vegemite; add at a heaped tablespoon per egg, or even Parmesan or blue cheese powder which is ideal in sausage meat baits. You can simply add some Minamino or proprietary fishing liquid amino acids supplement like Nutramino to boost feeding stimulation and nutritional profile of your bait; or add fish meal, keratin, or poultry meal, or ground bird foods and lecithins for more digestible baits in winter, for example...

You can add almost anything to enhance the stimulatory effects of your sausage baits but it helps if you really know what your ingredients do inside your fish and how they work together in baits to contribute the overall effects and improve catch results, and this knowledge really does save you a fortune and boost your confidence hugely! There are many ingredients etc you might add to stimulate fish which may be very expensive over a season, but going to the supermarket, health food shop, Asian store etc can provide really potent gems for a fraction of the cost when you know what to look for in terms of bioactive substances especially... Even adding liquidised liver with a few drops of spice or herb oleoresins and liquid lecithins can make drastic differences to results for relatively little cost and your baits will always be unique of course which a big edge anyway!

The options are limited only by your imagination; but using proven fish feeding triggering substances and metabolically stimulating substances are among the best proven substances when you look at bait components... Homemade sausage meat baits (and ground baits) for big carp and catfish are well proven against any popular modern baits (even enzyme-active ones,) and I've proven this myself (although my baits are sometimes rather more complex than here.) So give them a try and you might decide to get much deeper into making your own homemade baits; but beware - they can become addictive!

Most professional or student singers would love to develop a wonderful vibrato to add to their singing style. Some believe that vibrato is naturally occurring whenever anyone sings, but the is not always true. When many singers study the basics, they definitely want to add a good vibrato to their vocal technique.

What exactly is vibrato? Most singers call it a wavering in the sound of your voice as the vocal cords move, as it is the hallmark of a singer's sound, and a student singer will have to work on developing a good vibrato while they master basic vocal skills. Most singers need to develop their own distinctive vibrato style so you will have your own special vibrato.

How exactly does vibrato work? The throat area must be not be closed down but the vocal cords are closed down instead. Proper breath support is key to being the source of good vibrato, including good body posture so that there is a constant flow of air from your lungs.

Vibrato is a vocal style that is interpreted differently in various countries throughout the world. Some singers practice a rapidly changing vibrato style as others would rather sing with a flatter style with little or no vibrato variation. Countries such as China and Japan encourage a high-pitched, slow-moving very deliberate sound vibrato with their traditional national songs, and Western style choral music do not promote vibrato when the chorus sings.

If you want to learn how to sing a good vibrato, there are a several points to remember. A solid vibrato comes from lots of practice singing solo and with a group of other singers. If you are looking to develop a healthy vibrato, you will find that the first thing that you need to think about is your posture and positioning. Are you in a good place to get the sound that you need? Are you properly warmed up and ready to reach those high notes easily?

A beautiful vibrato can be cultivated with some practice in the basics of singing. The best way to get an impressive show is to work on a certain part that you might be having trouble with.

All great singers have something that makes them stand out, such as hand movements or stage presence or their ability to draw the crowd into their song. You'll have to find something that creates an allure to your voice. If you have a certain appearance that you're going for make sure it works for the crowd even when the lights are up.

Before going on stage, try to refrain from overusing your voice and don't shout at all! Even if they receive very positive reviews after a performance, some gifted and popular singers still over analyze and dissect every performance. Some singers are very strict with guarding the quality of their voice so that they avoid problems associated with harming their vocal cords.

If you want to get some positive results from your singing then start in a small setting where the audience is captive. You could sing at a karaoke bar or offer to sing at a friend's party where you get real feedback from people who might not know you but respect your craft, or you can also sing in church, which will help people to know that you have a good voice.
